Recently I sat down to fill in my 2 1/2 year old's 'Little Me' keepsake book, I'm a little behind* with it. Thats typical of second born life!
I found that I was struggling to remember many of the details of her first and second birthday parties. Sure I could look back at the facebook event for the date and location, and even double check the theme, but remembering who was there? Impossible. Who gave her gifts and what were they?
I have huge regrets not starting her books when she was born. I'm sure she wi;; forgive me oneday, but that māmā guilt is often consuming. I'll definitely be starting her a '21 years' Keepsake ASAP to record all those birthdays and memories of her, and i'm setting a reminder on my phone right now to update it each year!
*behind/it's been sitting on a shelf for at least 12 months with nothing written in it, same same 😅
